Resistance Movement tells the incredible true story of the Hübener Group, three teenagers in Nazi Germany, who decided to risk it all to defy Hitler. They listen to illegal radio broadcasts from England and type up what they learn, spreading their anti-Nazi leaflets throughout Hamburg. 15-year-old Rudi is confident they are making a difference and that they will soon be heroes, but when they are arrested, Rudi’s faith is severely tested.
Filmed on a single, minimalist set, this production of the original stage play combines the imaginative nature of theatre with the emotional detail of cinema.
